How do we book a trail ride?

Call (516) 650-6555
Agree on a ride time time and number of riders. Please provide approximate weights of riders.
Pick your ride (30, 60, 90 mins)
Pay 1 rider nonrefundable deposit over the phone
Come ride! Don’t forget to wear long pants and closed toe shoes

What we need to wear?

Wear long pants and closed toe shoes. Sneakers are fine. No sandals please!

Where do we ride?

We ride around the tree farms and neighboring horse farms in the area.

We have never ridden a horse. Can we ride?

Absolutely. Our horses are beginner/ first time rider friendly!

How old does my child need to be to ride?

We have rides for children ages 2 and up! Small children are led on their own pony by an experienced handler. We do not offer double riding.

We are experienced riders, will we still have fun trail riding?

You will have a blast! Please call for more experienced rides. We tailor the ride to the least experienced rider in the group.

Do you have a weight limit?

Our weight limit is 240lbs.

What happens if it rains?

Safety always comes first! We try to ride rain or shine. Rides are cancelled/rescheduled at Pink Flamingo Stables’ discretion. If there is thunder or lightning we will reschedule the ride for a later time.

Is our deposit refundable?

No. Please ensure you are serious about riding before booking a trail ride. Extensive time and effort goes into planning each of our trail rides and selecting the best horse to match the rider. In the event of inclement weather, rides will be postponed or rescheduled.
