Thanks for writing in, Sara. We’re so glad that you noticed a couple of key aspects here at Pink Flamingo Stables. First of all, it’s true…we do tend to think of the horses as children. After all, we spend day after day with them, year after year, watching them grow, caring for them. You can’t spend that much time with intelligent and gentle animals without bonding with them in some way, and we’re certainly not going to let anything happen to them if we can avoid it!

Second, you mention that we have a horse for every rider. It’s true, we have horses that can accommodate everyone, whether it’s their first day of horse riding lessons or they’re here for just an hour of trail riding. Matching the horse to rider is key, which is something that we’re certainly good at. Just like every person has a personality, so does every horse. We know them well and how they will react to every individual’s riding preferences.
